As many of you will know, my hair is untameable, unruly and out of control a lot of the time. As a child I never knew what to do with my hair, nor did anybody else for that matter. My Mum used to brush my hair everyday to form a halo of frizz, by the end of the day I’d be left with a matted knot, I’d dread trying to get a brush through it… Hair dressers have always been surprised at how dry my hair is, I explain that it has always been like that and I just thought it was normal (they don't believe me), one hairdresser got me onto Moroccan oil to help try and tame the frizz.
I must have tried every oil under the sun since, and have hand picked some of my favourites.

Moroccan oil:
This was the first oil I ever tried, a little does go a long way, you just need a pea size amount on towel dried hair, either air dry or blow dry. Humidity isn't my friend so I also smooth a little over my hair when its dry to stop the frizz. I wanted to find some more affordable versions, and usually buy this one as a treat. 125ml - £31

Oribe gold lust oil:
This oil is light weight, and was specifically made to strengthen and restore dry or damaged hair.  Apply to damp hair. 100ml - £45 I’ll be asking for it for christmas.

Argania spinosa organic organ oil:
When I found this one it changed my life. The price is incredible, Smells amazing and ingredients are good. Be careful not to apply too much as it can weigh your your hair down a little. Apply a tiny amount through damp hair, or smooth a little onto dry hair. 100ml - £6 AMAZING!

Germaine De Capuccini:
“Formulated with 5 natural oils that have twice the anti-oxidising power of Argan oil, this restoring essence repairs the hair and protects it against daily aggression. The hair is immediately hydrated, shinny and frizz free, without feeling oily.”  Does exactly what it says on the tin. Prevents hair loss, thickens and protects against daily aggressors, plus the smell is beautiful. 100ml - £33.45

OGX argan oil & shea butter:
This brand is my holiday go-to. Smoothes and hydrates, it feels weightless and sinks straight in, I like to use this one when I have my hair curly, it smooths frizz and increases shine, which helps keep my curls looking good an healthy all day. 118ml - £6.99

OGX Kukui oil:
This one is good for every hair type. the weightless feel an the fact it is in a spray is really handy. It is humidity resistant which is fab, I spray a little on dry hair before I go out, amazing, especially on holiday. 118ml - £7.35
